The way of building stave drums is unconvencional which means, they aren’t made on a lathe, but on a special CNC machine which we designed for only this purpose. We give a lot of attention to details and accuracy of making drums, which means the drum is made of “first hand” as we speak.That is how we insure the acurracy of making bearing edges,snare beds, etc…, last but not least it also comes in handy for engraving.
